Personal bio
2026 signifies my 37th year as a loan officer. My business focus is residential mortgages for primary residences, second homes and 1-4 rental properties. I work on both purchases and refinances. I am licensed under the FDIC and as a loan officer with Residential Mortgage, I lend in all the western states and a few more. My background as a mortgage broker, mortgage banker and now having the FDIC backing of a bank, means that I know the full scope of what is available to consumers-FHA, VA, USDA, Conventional and portfolio loans.
The diversity and range of loans that I can handle is huge. I work with first-time buyers looking at starter homes to investors buying up to 10 homes in multiple states. I also don’t shy away from credit challenged borrowers. I consistently receive referrals from Bankruptcy Attorneys and am able to help their clients purchase or refinance. I have lived and originated loans in very high cost areas like California and ski resorts in Colorado. I have also done a tremendous amount of work for first-time homebuyers and have access to programs that allow zero down and even grants for down payment and closing costs. Condominiums are also a special niche I am good at because of the volume of business I have done in resort areas and high cost areas for first-time buyers. The most unusual niche lending that I do consistently is leased land. I have originated over 300 loans on leased.
My “Why” for showing up to work every day is that get to help people realize life-time goals and financial well-being through home ownership and securing best market loan terms. I do this by being a loan consultant that cares about his clients and walks them through all the steps of obtaining financing for a home. I work diligently to provide options regardless of your assets, income or credit history. I also take a responsibility to teach and share what good financial practices are so that all clients can have a positive experience when buying or refinancing real estate.
